Ten test riders, the entire staff of switchback and peloton magazines, 80+ companies and their products, a large amount of Sierra Nevada beer, 16-GoPros and a full week of riding and reviewing bikes, product and gear on the trails of Ojai, CA. 

We wanted to get a jump on 2013 product, and in anticipation of our first Gear/Review Issue, we decided to create a week of testing and riding and share our experiences online, on social media, in video and film and within the pages of switchback magazine. We also decided it would be good for our souls to spend a week riding bikes. 

In just eight issues, switchback has quickly become the most talked about title in the mountain bike space and we wanted to both ride until we couldn’t speak clearly, and also take some time to reflect on 2013 and plan how to best present the amazing bikes and products that will soon be available to our readers. 

We just opened a new office in Ojai, CA, which will now be the review and test hub for both peloton and switchback magazines as well as the studio for the growing film and video division of Move Press. The roads and trails in the Ojai/Santa Barbara area are made for riding and provide the variety and scenery that will only add to our already robust review coverage.
