The Astana team has reinstated Andrey Kashechkin following a provisional suspension handed down last week for having failed to sign an agreement with the team's internal regulations. The Kazakhstan rider returns with full status to the 2013 team roster after signing the team's internal code of conduct.

Kashechkin will begin his season January 21 in Australia at the Santos Tour Down Under.
