The new Lotto-Belisol team will start their season at the Tour Down Under, which takes place between January 15-22. The team will be led by Andre Greipel, with Olivier Kaisen and former Belgian champion Jurgen Roelandts also in the seven man team.
"The Tour Down Under has earned its position on the cycling calendar as the season opener of the World Tour," said team manager Marc Sergeant. "We selected this team to compete for victory. A good start to the brand new season is very important and how better to start a new year than with an early victory? Andre Greipel is our leader and he is surrounded by very good men."
