Bar and stem shapes can get a little wacky. When you want to go carbon with classic lines your choices can be surprisingly limited and incredibly expensive. FSA’s K-Force New Ergo bars and OS 99 CSI stem cut a streamlined, traditional figure with matching 3k carbon weave and red and white graphics.
The New Ergo shape of the K-Force bars is sure to become a favorite among riders with big hands and long arms. With a generous 150mm drop, 80mm reach, and slight 2 degree outward cant the drops provide ample room for bigger riders to stretch out while maintaining a more traditional curved appearance. Instead of sharp channels for your cables FSA uses a flat section to allow both cables to nestle under the tape on the front of the bars. This, in partnership with the carbon Kevlar composite, keeps the K-Force bars very stiff despite the deep drop. It also keeps the bars light… very light, only 200-grams.
The OS 99 CSI stem shares the 3k weave of the bars but it is bonded to a 3D forged aluminum sub structure using a process called carbon structural integration, or CSI. With the help of titanium hardware the over all package weighs only 122-grams for a 110mm stem. The graphics flip-flop and integrate perfectly with the lines of the K-Force bars.
The combination of K-Force New Ergo bars and OS 99 CSI stem is extremely light, extremely stiff, and offers an updated look on a classic shape.
