Bellwether's Chronos bibs feature a multi zone construction to improve support and circulation with denier gradient knitted fabric to pull moisture away from skin. The seams are flat lock and instead of a sewn hem the stretch band on the leg is laser cut. The surface of the short is ribbed which improves airflow over your legs and helps the shorts earn their name, Chronos.
The chamois Bellwether employs for the Chronos, the Physio Pro, is hi tech. Spacer knit technology is the use of an open cell material, rather than foam, to provide comfort as well as allow moisture to be wicked away for the body rapidly. It improves the overall ventilation of a typical chamois enormously. The shape is pre-formed before it is attached to the short and designed to conform exactly to the anatomy.
Bellwether has given the Physio Pro 4-D construction. This refers to 4 different densities and types of foam to provide unparalleled weight distribution at contact point for long distance comfort. That comfort is further enhanced by the use of Perineal relief channel. Similar to the cut outs we see on so many saddles these days, it provides relief to sensitive nerves and improved blood flow.
