Designed to cheat to wind, the AR1 starts with Felt's Aero Road UHC Ultimate + Nano MMC carbon fiber frame, constructed using Felt's InsideOut internal molding process. The frame also uses internal cable routing for Di2, carbon fiber dropouts and a 7075 CNC machined replaceable derailleur hanger. The frame is then mated to a Felt AR UHC Ultimate + Nano  carbon fiber monocoque fork with carbon steerer tube, crown, and dropouts. Felt then equips the AR1 with a Shimano Di2 drivetrain with Ultegra dual pivot brakes. For the cockpit, Felt uses their own UHC advanced carbon fiber DMC VS handlebar, Devox 7050 aluminum 3D Forged stem, Aero UHC advanced carbon fiber seatpost and  SL Ti road saddle with CrN-Ti rails. To keep the AR1 rolling fast and smooth Felt taps Mavic Cosmic Carbone SL 52-millimeter deep carbon wheels. All of this combines to tip the scales at 15.36lbs. The Felt AR1 retails for $9699.
