Wearing their finest vintage threads and riding classic steeds, scores of eager cyclists (many "of a certain age") took to the strade bianche of Tuscany on Sunday's fourteenth running of the Eroica race. To call it a race might be an exaggeration, as simply gaining entry may qualify as its most competitive element. It's a classicist's dream, spanning multiple eras. Relentlessly retro. Vai! Vai!
