March 24th marked the fifth running of the Red Hook Criterium in Brooklyn, New York. What began as an informal street race in celebration of organizer David Trimble's birthday has quickly grown into the most coveted race of its kind. The unsanctioned race hits racers of all backgrounds with the challenges of speed and bike handling as they hurl their track bikes around a tight (and dark) urban criterium course.
