Both the old guard and the new rose to the top during the elite time trial events at the World Road Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark this week. In both the men's and women's events, Germany (and HTC-High Road) took home the top honors as Judith Arndt claimed a long-awaited title and Tony Martin dethroned the king of the time trial, Fabian Cancellara.
