Very few of us wear just the roadie hat these days. Increasingly, we are splitting our time between tarmac and gravel trails, amassing the extra equipment that comes with a new discipline. ASSOS is helping cut down on new gear needed with the Skharab: sunglasses designed for aggressive riding positions both on- and off-road. Similar to the brand’s Zegho sunglasses, these have a rimless profile, adjustable nosepiece and a lightweight feel, in part due to its impact-resistant nylon lens. After testing scores of designs across different face shapes, helmets and riding conditions, ASSOS landed on a single wraparound lens design, tuned for mediumlight conditions, for an unobstructed view in aggressive positions. And a secure fit on the roughest of gravel roads comes courtesy of tapered, airflow-channeling temples. No matter how you ride, the Skharab is ready for it.
