The Roka Matador’s distinctive profile, which almost looks like upside down sunglasses, was originally developed to fit better with modern helmets. The Austin, Texas-based Roka has now riffed on that design to make the Matador Air, delivering more airflow in a lighter package. When hot and humid conditions arise, these sunglasses have superior ventilation to keep the lens from fogging up. Dropping the frame from the bottom of the lens has also helped reach an impossibly light weight of 25 grams, all without compromising optical quality or strength. And all the performance benefits of Roka sunglasses, including tacky rubber touch points, lens coatings that resist sweat and grime, and more are included.
