October 7, 2015 – If you are a believer in Rotor’s ovalized Q-rings and its gorgeous crank sets, the Spaniards have just released a power meter you should get excited about – INpower.

Unlike its other power meters that measure power in the crank arm, INpower measures in the bottom bracket spindle, protected from accidents and the elements. The list of features is impressive – a standard AA battery, Torque Effectiveness and Pedal Smoothness metrics, Q-Ring compatibility and orientation optimization, 300hr battery life, compatibility with vast majority of new frames (all but BB90) and the option to buy only the left arm and spindle if you already own Rotor cranks.

It measures only left leg power, but as Stages Power has made clear, a consistent meter that doubles left leg measurement provides an ideal metrics for the vast majority of riders at a very compelling price. 3D30 INpower crank sets start at $959, and if you only need the left arm it’s just $779. Available in 3D+, 3D30, Flow and 3D+ CX1.
