There are high-quality bike tools, and then there are 3D-printed titanium ones. Silca has taken one giant leap for bike tool technology with its Titanium Shop Tools. Made of hardened 6/4 Ti, these tools—a chain whip, locking tool and machinist hammer—strip away all unnecessary weight to arrive at featherweight, elegantly finished products that can handle regular use. The reversible Shimano/SRAM and Campagnolo lockring tool weighs in at a paltry 45 grams. The hammer, which has hard titanium on one side and hard rubber on the other, has a little more heft to it to make it effective, but it’s still incredibly light. While these tools are meant for traveling mechanics looking to keep weight to a minimum, we also think they look plenty good on your workbench at home (and are a surefire way of having the most enviable tools of all your friends).
