Micki Kozuschek and a small group founded the San Luis Obispo, California based company in 2007 with one goal in mind – to create exquisitely designed, yet extremely compact and functional bicycle components. A german native, Kozuschek started one of the leading OEM component manufactures Truvativ in the 90s. After selling the business to SRAM in 2004 and taking a break to refocus his energy, he helped bring Lezyne to market with engineered design as their motto. Clean, well-built and utilitarian made tools for the everyday rider, pro shop mechanic or anyone in between.

LezyneDigitalOverDrivePump

The large secondary chamber is easily manually pressurized with normal floor pump strokes and is engaged by leaving the metal u-shaped foot-lever in the upright position. To use the Digital Pressure Over Drive pump as a standard floor pump, simply pull this black lever perpendicular to the floor to close the barrel shaped chamber. The medium cookie-sized digital gauge has a power button as well as the option to changes the units from PSI to bar – the DPOD maxes out at 220 psi/15 bar when the pressure chamber is full.

Without a doubt the best feature of this new offering from Lezyne is the ability of the pump to conveniently seat any tubeless tire set-ups with the ease of a CO2 cartridge or compressor (but with no hassle). When the u-shaped foot-lever is flipped into the vertical position during pumping, then flipped down once the desired pressure is created in the chamber, a powerful blast of air can be used to seat gravel, road, cyclocross or any larger mountain tubeless setups. An extremely efficient and simple solution for users who require the flexibility to change tires based on weather and riding/racing conditions. Easy to read and extremely accurate, the digital gauge makes dialing in the perfect air-pressure for each inflation a breeze.

The Digital Pressure Over Drive is built from high-grade steel and aluminum providing a stable and durable floor pump base. Other features include a long, nylon-reinforced braided air-hose and an ABS2 Presta/Schrader compatible chuck to complete the whole package for this powerful pump from Lezyne.
