The 25-year-old Frenchman won ten races this season despite having to pull out of a series of events, including the Tour de France and the Tour of Spain, due to nasty falls.
Cofidis have also added support for Bouhanni in the form of 35-year-old Slovenian sprinter Borut Bozic, brought in to help Bouhanni down the stretch. Bouhanni is the star rider for Cofidis and joined at the start of this season.
He will now also be joined by his 19-year-old brother Rayane, the 2014 French junior champion, who signed his first professional contract. The team also signed a climb specialist last month after Frenchman Arnold Jeannesson joined Cofidis from rival French outfit Francaise Des Jeux.
