May 10, 2015 – Stage three of the Women’s Tour of California saw gritty, never-say-die racing that once again saw Canadian Leah Kirchmann smashing the field to bits. However, Kirchmann was unable to shake Trixi Worrack, her general classification rival, and still remains 5 seconds adrift to the German rider. American Lauren Komanski is just as well nipping at the GC-heels of both Kirchmann and Worrack. The final stage on Monday is a 24 kilometer timetrial at over 6,000ft in elevation, which will surely see a shakeup amongst the GC.
